Heroes In Training or H.I.T. for short is the program designed for our children’s department. The program teaches that everyone can be a Hero for God when they learn from the other heroes for God found in the Bible. The children will learn the importance of loving and learning from God’s Word. They will also be challenged to love God even more.

During the 9:45am LifeStage Bible Classes, the children enjoy learning what it takes for them to be a hero for God through exciting lessons, great children’s songs, and fun games. All those ages 3-11 can become part of growing as “Lil’ Heroes.”

During the 11:00am Morning Worship Service, the children enjoy our Junior Church Program as a part of H.I.T. All those ages 3-11 can take part in the excitement and wonder of learning about God and His Word.

Created by Pastor Aaron Shakal and his wife, the program continues to grow in its effectiveness through carefully planned additions all the time. Heroes In Training is a time filled with songs the children enjoy, including the theme song written just for them. The children also learn memory verses and hear about the heroes of God all throughout the Bible. Then, the mix of games and prizes encourage a fun atmoshpere in which to learn.
