The 5 Minutes Ministry seeks to change lives with the gospel of Christ.

Through the 5 minutes ministry of Open Door Baptist Church we seek to reach into the local community utilizing the most participation possible through:   

• Encouraging strong, planned efforts in Soul-Winning
• Empowering through weekly 5 minute training windows and testimonies
• Enlisting help through partnerships
• Equipping Passionate Altar Workers

The Bible says, “He that winneth souls is wise…” (Prov 11:30).

The heartbeat of God is that the world would be saved. “God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance…” (2 Peter 3:9). “The Son of Man is come to Seek and to Save that which is lost…” (Luke 19:10). “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved…” (John 3:17).

A heavenly-minded church is a soul-winning church. Someone with the mind of Christ must also have a soul-winning heart.

However, knowing the need for soul-winning is not enough. There must also be a move to action accompanied by a plan of attack. The Soul-winning church is one that will motivate and  teach the people how to accomplish the task in the most effective way possible. Then, they involve the people.
